Wilridge Achieves Carbon Neutral Certification

2024 footprint measured at 265.4 MTCO2e and fully offset

Wilridge Vineyard, Winery & Distillery is proud to share that we have been certified Carbon Neutral through ClimateHound, a sustainability partner specializing in carbon footprint measurement and certification for the food and beverage industry. ClimateHound measured Wilridge’s 2024 carbon footprint at 265.4 metric tons of CO2 equivalent (MTCO2e) aligned to GHG Protocol standards. Through targeted carbon offsets, we have fully neutralized those emissions.

Our comparatively low footprint reflects more than a decade of green practices, including a 91% waste diversion rate — a major factor in keeping our footprint so low. Wilridge’s waste diversion rate is the percentage of our total waste diverted away from the landfill to recycling, animal feed, and compost.

As Seattle’s first urban winery and Washington’s first certified Biodynamic winery, Wilridge continues work on being the greenest winery.
