| 1999 Spring Valley Vineyard Merlot $24 | |||||
Fans of our Melange (produced only in
selected vintages) will love Spring Valley Merlot because it was a major
component of the Melange blend in prior years. But the Spring Valley Merlot
is simply too good not to have its own separate vineyard designated bottling.
The 1999 Spring Valley Merlot is the "biggest" Merlot we have yet produced
from this Walla Walla Valley Vineyard - with lots of fruit and firm tannins
for aging. This versatile red will go well with anything from rack of lamb
to a medium rare hamburger.
Here's what the press says: 90 Points. "This is a soft, sensual Merlot, with lovely strawberry cherry fruit and hints of herb. Complex, layered, elegant and subtle, it is a delightful showcase for the cherry-pie pleasures of Walla Walla fruit." -- The Wine Enthusiast, June 2002. Status: Limited Availability |

| 1999 Corral Creek Vineyard Pinot Noir $19 | |||||
| 1999 was the second fabulous vintage
in a row in Oregon's Willamette Valley. The 1999 Corral Creek is winemaker
Paul Beveridge's most sophisticated Pinot Noir to date. Paul spent three
weeks in Burgundy before the 1999 harvest and it shows in this wine -- with
the delicate aromas, crisp acidity and refined tannins one usually only finds
in wines from the finest vineyards of Burgundy's Cote d' Or. It's also a
food friendly wine; try it with grilled salmon or chicken.

| 1999 Nebbiolo di Klipsun $19 | |||||
| Wilridge has the exclusive rights to
all of the Nebbiolo grown at the prestigious Klipsun Vineyards on Red Mountain
in Washington State (all three rows). The variety is rare in the United States,
but in Italy it is considered the King of Grapes and makes the finest wines
from Barolo and Barbaresco. Our 1999 Nebbiolo is true to its Italian roots
and will go with all of your favorite Italian foods (particularly any dish
with truffles).
Reviews: 91 Points. "Nebbiolo has not distinguished itself in Washington, but here is the wine that could change all that. From the esteemed Klipsun Vineyard, it is a pretty, pinot-colored wine scented with tea, tobacco, pie cherry and hints of leather. Clean and aromatic, with sweet fruit and an amazingly long, spicy finish, it is a light wine, but quite serious and flavorful. Alas, just 226 cases made." Wine Enthusiast, June 2002.
